Wagada, an Afro-fusion, Born in Jos, Platue state, Nigeria, currently based in Abuja. Wagada describes his music as a reflection of his thoughts and emotions calling his music "The wild wild West". Put in his words "my music is a reflection of whats within and around me, with the hopes that someone out there can relate and see the light at the end of the tunnel". Drawing influence from the King of Afro-Beats Fela, Bob-Marley, ASA, Kendrick Lamar and many more. Wagada's sound can be described as a mix of all forms of contemporary music with a base of Afro-beats, many consider him to be a reggae/dancehall, Hip Hop artist, however cannot displace the heavy influence of contemporary Nigeria music in his sound. Simply described as a different sound on its own.
