Composer Neil O ‘Connor has been producing electronic music for the past 25 years under a number of guise (most notably Somadrone). Ordnance Survey is a project that brings together the use of modular synthesizers and collaborations across many genres within the current Irish musical landscape. Relative Phase (2018) attempted to ‘map’ the worlds of new music, jazz and electroacoustic music and features a survey of collaborations from his contemporaries such as Sean Mc Erlaine, Linda Buckley, Kate Ellis and John Mc Entire (Tortoise).
