Barda is Cecilia Gebhard, music composer and DJ from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Her music fuses a sonic beatmaking with melodies, textures, synthwaves and rhythmic patterns. Filling sometimes the tracks with vocals and lyrics to the speech of the soundscape. She has shared live sets with Barrio Lindo and SidiRum, and she has played alongside artists such as Chancha Via Circuito, Nicola Cruz, El Búho, Rodrigo Gallardo, Kaleema, Dengue Dengue Dengue, Matanza, Roderic, Martha Van Straaten, Caleesi, MRux, EXZ, El Remolón, Klik & Frik and many others. She has been part of WOMEX 17 official program, FUSION FESTIVAL (2018 and 2019), MUTEK AR 2018, BAHIDORÁ 2020 and another festivals. Her recent album EL SUEÑO SOBRE EL SUEÑO includes RAMA EN EL RÍO Feat. Gus Goncalves and NARANJA EL CIELO Feat. Aldo Benítez and Brawlio published by Fértil Discos. It also features collaborations with Luvi Torres and Manuela De Las Casas. A live presentation of the album took place in Camping at a Fértil gig in Buenos Aires and ended with the live version of a remix Barda did for Tiskoo available in this platform.
