Otavio de Moraes is a musician, arranger, music producer and composer from São Paulo, Brazil. With almost 30 years of career, he has worked for many artists and has been part of relevant projects. From 1996 to 2004 he was the drummer and music director of the duo Sandy and Junior, leading the band in important moments, such as Live DVD at Maracanã, Viña del Mar Festival in Chile and Rock in Rio. As a music producer and arranger, he has signed projects for Rita Lee, Pedro Mariano, Luciana Mello, Eros Ramazzoti, Ricky Martin, Orquestra Jazz Sinfônica, among others. In addition, he signed the original DVD soundtrack for the play Terça Insana; produced the DVD Casa da Bossa in honor of Tom Jobim; and signed the direction of Especial Fino da Bossa, by TV Record. In advertising, Otavio created soundtracks for the largest agencies in the country, for brands such as Itaú, Samsung, Mastercard, Heinz, Chevrolet, Mitsubishi. As a director at Blood Audio Studios, Otavio also created and produced the soundtracks for the opening and closing ceremonies of the Fifa World Cup in Brazil in 2014. In cinema, he signs the music of the feature films “Elis" (best original soundtrack at the Brazilian Film Grand Prix and FicSur Film Festival); “Amor no Divã” (best original score at the L.A. Film Festival); “Nothing to Lose” and “Nothing to Lose 2”, released in over 30 countries; “Miracles”, VR film awarded at Raindance Festival, and “Quest For Beauty”, documentary to be released.
