Stefanie Schlesinger studied classical singing in Augsburg and has been on the (jazz) stages in Germany and abroad for almost two decades. With her unique sound she combines fresh standard interpretations and jazz variations of classical arias with her own written repertoire or the extensive song work of her partner Wolfgang Lackerschmid. With him, she also worked-out the stage form musiclett, in which they combine the possibilities of (music-) theater and jazz. CD releases on ENJA Records, HGBS and her own label hipjazz.
