Biography

Graduated in piano at the Conservatory and in musicology at the University of Milan (cum laude), she studied singing with B. M. Casoni, D. Gioia, L. Serra, A. Pizzoli, C. Vilalta, earning the conservatory license in singing and later specializing in early music with C. Miatello and E. Tubb. Soprano voice, she frequently interprets renaissance and baroque repertoire, invited in music festivals (Metropòli, Musica Sibrii, XIV Culture Week, Hidden Treasures, European Heritage Days 2012 and 2013, Suoni del Garda, Segni Barocchi Foligno, Todi MusicAntica, Da Vinci Baroque, Antiqua, Il Montesardo, Altolivenza, Alessandria Barocca, and many others), working with groups specializing in early music on original instruments, including “I Solisti Ambrosiani”, and performing in prestigious venues and historical monuments. She has made several recordings, which have earned her rave reviews from the critics, including the complete German Arias by Handel, the compilations “Sacrae Cantiones” and “Baroque Caravan”, Scarlatti’s “Dirindina” in the title role (Bongiovanni), and a monograph on T. Albinoni, containing some Cantatas in world premiere recording (Urania Records). In 2019 will be released a CD dedicated to A. Caldara. In 2008 won the competition for teaching “Performance practice of early music” for the three-year BA course of Musicology at the Conservatory in Milan. In 2002 wrote the musicological essay “Nina o sia La pazza per amore dalla Francia all’Italia” (Raffaelli Ed).
