Joe Prince Wonbenkor Doegolia known professionally as JoePrince, is an Australian -based Liberian singer, producer and song writer. Joe Prince was born in Danané, Ivory Coast to a Liberian parents who fled Liberia for safety due to a civil conflict. (The First Liberian Civil War) They settled briefly in Ivory Coast before relocating to a refugee camp in Guinea due to another civil conflict. JoePrince started as a rapper in Junior High. During that time they had a studio setup for students who had interested in doing music. It was by then he recorded couples of rap songs and participated in schools concerts and more. He later graduated high school where he went ahead to pursue his ambition. He bought his first home studio setup and started doing his own recordings and making beats. He decided to switched up to Afrobeats, because rap music wasn’t really going nowhere in Australia by then. He still didn’t stop there, he decided to try another genre of music. He recorded his first Afro song called “African Princess” which the public reacted to supportively. It was by then he decided on releasing more good musics. His most popular hit songs people knows him by are: Mr Perfect ft Nez B, Joro ft Lowkey. A year later JoePrince drops his first EP tittle “LoveLetter”.
