”Evocative Soul” Mx is a Toronto born singer, songwriter, producer, aspiring actor, and entrepreneur. Mx realized his feel for music at a young age. Converting his living room computer into a synthesizer at the tender age of eight, he created his own mini recording studio where he learned about sequencing patterns and beat making. He continued to hone his skills & eventually learned how to use recording software to bring to life the sonic works of art he felt in his soul. Mx then taught himself how to play the piano and guitar. He developed a passion for song writing as he created music and learned how to use Protools to be a “one stop shop”. Through his work in the industry, Mx came to participate in the “Remix Project”, a well respected studio program. The body of work he developed through collaborations with Canadian, American, and UK artists allowed Mx to establish himself as a known song writer and producer. Mx is now ready to make his mark in the music industry as an artist in his own right. His ability to influence, shape and guide up and coming artists in the city have driven him to not only be an industry connect but a pioneer in his own right. With a distinct, evocative R&B style, Mx’s sound is unique on its own.
