Guitarist and composer Luigi Masciari has collaborated live and in the studio with some of the most prestigious names on the national and international jazz scene. With several albums to his credit, he has recorded, among many others, with Aaron Parks (The G-Session), Jason Lindner (Somewhere in my mind), Danilo Rea (Emoticons, Nosferatu) Paolo Damiani (Pane e Tempesta, Classiche Musiche Leggere), Alfredo Paixão (Firts Name Oona), Francesco Bearzatti (Noise in the box). Born in Naples, Masciari is the winner of the prestigious US award "Betty Carter's Jazz Ahead for performers and composers", Washington D.C ", 2007, awarded to him by legendary musicians such as Curtis Fuller and Dr. Billy Taylor. Based in Rome, is also the arranger and musical director of the project Viva De André, narrated by Luigi Viva, which has included significant collaborations, with Giulio Carmassi (Pat Metheny Unity Group), Michael League (leader of Snarky Puppy) and David Blamires (Pat Metheny Group).
