Hellions, one of Australia's most exciting bands, released their career defining third album Opera Oblivia in 2016. Since its release, Hellions scored triple j Feature album, received a #4 ARIA album debut position and an ARIA Award nomination for Best Hard Rock/Heavy Metal album. The Sydney quintet went on to tour the United Kingdom and Australia on their Opera Oblivia World Tour, including multiple sold out shows and a special performance in Sydney where the band played both Opera Oblivia and Indian Summer back-to-back. In 2018, Hellions dropped their long-awaited new single "X (Mwah)". "X" is a defeatist ode to recklessness delivered via an ever-colourful riot of punk rock joy. The jam was first revealed in front of a frenzied capacity crowd at UNIFY 18 in what Australian Guitar Magazine called "a glorious haze of liveliness and grandeur".
