I live near the ocean and for that I am grateful. It’s not everyday that I have the chance to pick up my guitar and imagine but when I do I am in bliss. Every song is a memory. As a lover of music, I consider myself a collector. I try to listen to music from around the world and try to find that spark that inspires me. I enjoy Western African, South American and North American sounds and recognize their interconnected history. I love finding that most authentic expression in simple acoustics and words, and I love the fractal experience of psychedelic sounds. Music is everything. I'm a father and I am writing songs for my son about life and living it well.
