For some individuals, career choices seem to turn out naturally. Julius Debler (aka) “Introversion” is one of them: “I never planned a music career, it just happened. I started making music in my early childhood.” Now, the 24-year-old Berliner by choice who defines himself as producer, sound designer and DJ is part of the new generation of young talents gaining a foothold in the electronic music industry by shaping it with an own and pioneering style. In terms of producing, drums play a significant role in Introversion’s compositions (it was the first instrument he laid his hands on in adolescent years). Introversion has managed to establish himself in a short time considering his first EP came out only 4 years ago. Two solid outputs hit the shelves 2016: “Overnight” (Your Mother Naked) and the “Aftermath” EP (Concepts Of Time). Both eventually lead to the first release on ARTS (Collective): The well-known “Dystopia” EP, a diverse three-track techno EP which already is called a modern classic in the world wide web. This was followed by regular releases on ARTS, a remix for Ellen Allien on her own BPitch imprint as well as an EP on Remco Beekwilder’s Emerald label. After several releases on his mainstay label ARTS there’s another solo EP in the pipeline for 2020. In addition, also some forthcoming remixes for SHDW & Obscure Shape (From Another Mind), Blue Hour (Blue Hour Music) and Nicolas Bougaieff (Mute/ Novamute) will see the light of day this year.
