From South East Sydney, Australian born Turkish artist Atahan, has been in and around the Sydney Hip-Hop scene for a multitude of years. He has collaborated and interacted with international artists such as Ice Cube, Mic Righteous & Benny The Butcher. Locally Atahan has been apart of Heaps Decent by Nina Las Vegas & Diplo which is an Community program that opens doors for under privileged youth off the streets, this is the place Ata was introduced into music creation and recording. A few years into his music career he met MixedbyEspa, a well known Australian hip hop pioneer. Atahan recorded his debut album ''Eyez Never Die" released 2022, with Espa at Safe House Studios. Beyond the incredible journey this artist has endured during his lifetime. Atahan continues to strive for more success, greater accomplishments all whilst never becoming content within himself. He said 'I'm kind of like a shark, if I stop swimming ill probably die'. Currently he is associated with fellow aritsts KingxMaliq, WAVEYFACE & Aykubz, together they are in the collective State of Vibe, which has guided their brotherhood type bond even stronger. Aykubz and Atahan are blood brothers. Born five years apart, they both have different outlooks towards music, which makes a beautiful mixture whenever they collaborate on songs. Atahan currently is working on three projects, a radio show series and preparing workshops at Redfern Community Centre.
