Phoenix, Arizona born “Rashenal” released the “Day Birth EP” in 2008 which was considered by many to be a local classic. Then at the end of 2009 he released the iconic “Human Block” album produced entirely by “Jelts”. The next few years he spent working with other artists, going on a few west coast tours, and also working on a new solo album. Then in 2012 the “Galactic Basic” album “Base It On Basic” was released which consisted of “Rashenal”, “Idolize the MC”, and was entirely produced by “Mute”. Then at the end of 2014 “Rashenal” released his full length debut album “Life Learner” which received critical acclaim and multiple press coverage articles and interviews from Arizona Republic / AZ Central and Phoenix New Times. Rashenal is also the owner of independent Hip Hop record label “Earsweat Records”, which is a long standing member of the ever blossoming Arizona Hip Hop community. Then “Rashenal” and “G-Owens” formed the group “Eighty Two”, and have since released multiple singles and are working on finishing the full length album. Rashenal is also in the process of recording a new solo album slated for late 2022 release.
