Auckland rapper Suedo is known for his catchy melodies and head-bopping flows with nonchalant lyricism over wavy beats. Suedo started out when he was just in high school, recording music on his phone and posting it on SoundCloud. After posting numerous songs and videos on social media, he began to build a fanbase in his hometown, and continued to build a following online around 2016. After moving to Auckland in 2017 he adopted a more melodic sound while experimenting with recording and mixing. In 2022 after featuring on several collaborations over the past few years and finding his own unique sound, he made a splash with the locally viral debut music video Cheesin featuring Lord Seez , followed by the EP Half Cut . Later that year, Suedo collaborated with 449 A'ONE on the project Hit Factory. His latest release The S-Files showcases best what has drawn fans to him; his effortless lyricism and flow with catchy melodies and smooth beats that compliment each other perfectly. Having built a name for himself with his past releases, Suedo is poised to take his musical journey to new heights in the future.
