Born in Italy, Eil Marchini has spent much of his life travelling the world, on a mystic mission to experience the sights and sounds of everywhere he visits. An essential listening for anyone with a passion for guitar, electronica, folk, psychedelia, in fact, for anyone who demands the music they listen to challenges them and transports them to worlds they never even knew they wanted to visit. Not allowing himself to be constrained by fitting into a genre, Eil flits between making atmospheric electronic and indie folk ballads. In early 2019 he supported Alt-Country/Paisley Underground pioneers, The Long Ryders, later that year Eil debuted MainStage at Pistoia Blues, supporting blues legends Eric Gales and Robben Ford. In November 2019 was released Lost in The Universe, recorded in 2017/2018 at Queensland Conservatorium after meeting Australian producer Blake Malone. Eil asked Blake to produce and mix the album which ended up fusing his sensational blues/folk-inspired guitar-picking with a night-flight through an electronic forest of ideas. The two were reunited in 2020, this time in Italy. With a four days recording session in a shed on the Ligurian hillside, they had enough material for an album this time mixed entirely by Eil on his own. The album is called Just Looking for Waves. Eil founded a record label, Ratto Casa with fellow band Crabbish. The first album published is Eil's Giri di Vinile Intorno All'Isolato, for the very first time completely in Italian.
