Artist project Mars Meddo is lead by singer, songwriter, producer & visual artist Secaina and came to be at the end of 2019. Her first release under the moniker was with Swedish pop artists david xo and Summer Heart, which received recognition from ‘Monday Spin’, Spotify's editorial playlist (Japan). In 2020 appearing as the collective Pesolife, Mars co-produced the 6-track EP “Peso Sessions, Vol. 1” alongside Kaye Orbit. The first single ‘Sit Back' ft KdotMelody gained the duo recognition from BBC Introducing which subsequently lead to the show playing every song from the EP. The second single ‘Feel Good’ ft lleo was featured twice on Spotify’s ‘Soultronic’ editorial playlist and garnered radio attention from the likes of BBC’s Jaguar and Annie Mac. The third single ‘Relax’ ft Kolly Blu cemented the Pesolife name, and in September 2020 they became BBC Introducing’s Featured Artist and BBC 1xtra’s Track of the Week. In 2021 it was announced that Pesolife were placed on BBC Introducing’s ‘Ones to Watch 2021’ list, promising a bright future ahead.
