VINU is a true citizen of the world, having grown up in 4 countries, and this can be heard in his unique sound. Growing up he was a classically trained violinist, and eventually taught himself to play other instruments and genres as well. In 2004 he began DJing various kinds of electronic music, which soon led to a desire to create his own music. Vinu studied Electronic Music Production and Audio Engineering in university. While there he graduated top of his class and developed a keen attention to sonic detail and fidelity. Over the last few years VINU has played at legendary US nightclubs like Exchange LA, Avalon, Do Not Sit on the Furniture, and Treehouse in Miami! 2019 marked a great debut year for VINU with releases on Typ3 Records, WOLD Records, and progressive heavyweight onedotsixtwo!! Musically, VINU's style has an array of influences from his experience DJing and producing everything from psytrance, to dubstep, to drum and bass, to minimal techno, to trance, house, tech-house, progressive house, techno, and even ambient and chill out music. Through these diverse explorations, he has crafted his own sonic identity which can be described as highly refined, eclectic, melodic, deep, and spiritual music that seamlessly blends elements of deep house, progressive house and melodic techno.
