Hailing from Adelaide's southern suburbs, as many local legends before him have, he curiously negates the usual traits that is so easily distinguishable in other emcees from the area. His melodic and smooth but easily recognisable vocal range truly makes him stand out from his peers both past and present. In 2017 he released his first solo album: ‘The Open Mind’. The release would be an awakening narrative into the artists outlooks of reality; receiving regular plays on Fresh 92.7 FM - the titled album single including ‘Let It All Go’ Feat. Gospel. Mythz is an individual that can find inspiration almost everywhere he looks, whether locally or on the other side of the world. Propelling his talent to gain him a stacked list of supporting slots including big names such as Obie Trice, Four Owls, Common and Talib Kweli. In December 2020 the artist would release his second studio album; ‘Monumental’. The highly anticipated project (with singles; ‘Weeroona Ave’ & ‘All In’) would gain the Adelaide rapper traction into 2021 with the hit single ‘Right Now’. Mythz would then go onto headlining his first official show at the UniBar Adelaide in July 2021 with a stacked line up of supporting acts. His work ethic, talent and charisma continue to prove why he truely is in a class of his own; Choosing to use his platform to promote understanding towards all facets of life. Call it spiritualism or just the power of positivity, but either way Mythz is a force to be reckoned with.
