With roots from Aivali in Asia Minor, Dimitris was born and raised in Chalkida, Evia. He began piano and music theory classes when he was 9 years old and at the age of 18, he relocated permanently to Athens. He mixes sounds that combine art history, traditional music, and folk. Lena Alkaiou, Christos K. Theodorou, Nina Lotsari, Opera Chaotique, Sia Koskina, Eleni Karakasi, Kostas Pagiatis, Georgia Dagaki, Thodoris Kotonias, Areti Ketime, Giorgos Pagiatis, String Demons, are some of the artists he has collaborated with. In 2017, he recorded "5i Epoxi”, with lyrics and music by Myrsini Doxa, which was highly accepted by radio stations and music-loving public. In 2018, he continues with his second single, a Panagiotis Kalantzopoulos' cover on "Me Ta Matia Kleista", orchestrated by the successful artistic duo, Giorgos Boussounis, and Giorgos Gkinis. In the summer of the same year, he released the traditional Smyrna song "Milo Mou & Mantarini", arranged by Vangelis Karapetrou. In 2020, he released "Magoula", composed by Nikos Karadimitriou and lyrics by Yannis Mouratidis-a highly traditional song in Kalamatian rhythm, sealed by bagpipe, lute, and violin. In 2021 he released "2 Tsigara”, which was a great radio success, and the full-length album “Armonias 31" with 7 songs in a mixture of folk and traditional sounds. 2023 and the year is sealed with his new single "Ta Asimanta" and a unique collaboration with Domna Kountouri on “Thelo”.
