Constance Hauman was featured on NPR's 'Play It Forward'. The single 'Taking Some Steps Ahead' from her 3rd solo album Tropical Thunderstorm (2021) was #1 on NewAge radio. Her Quarantine Trilogy Waves 1, 2 & 3 received critical acclaim for Hauman's ambient jazz piano improvisations w/drummer, co-producer Ross Pederson. Their album High Tides (2019) marked a 2nd solo album of her original songs and arrangements. Hauman made her debut as a songwriter, pianist, co-producer w/ her debut solo album, Falling Into Now, chosen by The Guardian UK as #8 of the top 10 critics’ picks for the best pop album of 2015. As keyboardist/MD for funk rock bands Miss Velvet & The Blue Wolf and Blu Eye Extinction, she continues to tour worldwide w/ George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic. Holding many credits and awards in the classical world, Constance made her Vienna Statsoper debut in 2019 in Olga Neuwirth's ORLANDO. She is acclaimed for her historic live recording in the title role of Alban Berg's Lulu (Chandos) recorded with the Danish Radio Orchestra and as Alice/Renee on the award winning recording of Olga Neuwirth's groundbreaking opera, Lost Highway (Kairos).
