Angel Perez, otherwise known as Ang P, is an American emcee and recording artist based out of Olympia, WA. Born in Central New Jersey in the late 80’s to a family of Puerto Rican and Irish descent, Ang P’s early childhood was not ideal by any stretch of the imagination. A family life that consisted of drug abuse, domestic violence and an inner city upbringing shaped the way Angel would come to view the world as a whole. Years later and after a 3,000 mile move to the Pacific Northwest Ang P started writing and recording songs at the age of 14. Ang P has released multiple projects and videos as part of the indie hip-hop crew, The Real Life Click. In the 2016 Ang P kept busy with 3 releases over the calendar year. L.I.F.E. – Living In Fear Everyday, was released March 24th and touches on many different real life topics that people deal with on an everyday basis such as: depression, sneaker culture, police brutality, and relationships gone bad. Just 4 short months after releasing his last full-length album, L.I.F.E., Ang P returned with a brand new EP with RLC producer Eddie Venom titled, Manicotti and quickly followed that up with the aptly titled, #Project1031, which was released on Halloween. In addition to the strong output Ang P also released 4 videos last year and performed shows all over Washington State, as well as New York and Los Angeles. Ang's current release Vibes and Dreams has been generating buzz locally as well as across the net.
