Canaan Aboda, professionally known as Son Of Aboda, is a rapper, singer and songwriter from Kampala, Uganda. Growing up in Ntinda, music was a big part of his childhood. His name originating from his late father, who is his biggest inspiration, whose name was Aboda (a native Acholi name). Son Of Aboda hopes walk in those footsteps of greatness hence Son Of. The artist started his music career in 2019 but in 2020 started releasing freestyles on audio Mack and SoundCloud during the lockdown. The artist left music for 3 years and had a life changing experience in 2019 when he got born again giving his life to Jesus. The artist then returned to music in 2024 with hit single Second Return, that signals his return to music. His music has a story, it’s a journey of trials, tribulations, joys and sorrows, expressing everything that has shaped the artist into the person he has grown to become.
