You never know what to expect from the genre-bending wizards over at Lost in Beijing. Featuring anything from heavy Midtempo with Drum ’n’ Bass interludes to Melodic Bass with IDM arrangement, and even Lofi-stylized Dubstep (or is it Dubstep-stylized Lofi…?), Lost in Beijing specializes in technical, polished, emotional electronic music that shatters genres and subverts expectations, all while retaining a familiar flow. In 2019, the duo embarked on a China tour that included festival bookings at EDC China and ASL Ningbo, and headline performances in Shanghai, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Hohhot, and even Kangding, a small city on the outskirts of Tibet. Lost in Beijing also supported many international tours in China, playing alongside A$AP Ferg, GHASTLY, Kompany, MitiS, 1788-L, and more. Forging onwards, the two released an official remix of CRaymak’s ‘I’d Do It Again (feat. Saint Yves)’ on the iconic Flux Pavilion’s Circus Records. Despite not releasing music since early 2020, the duo’s unrelesed discography has already generated positive recognition from a wide variety of sources. Dance music publication YourEDM even listed Lost in Beijing in their Top 40 Artists to Watch in 2023 list, stating, “Lost in Beijing really entered our frame of consciousness this year and have been so truly relentless in the pursuit of their own art that they've shined in 2022 and are surely destined for big things next year." Lost in Beijing returns in 2023.
