Danny originally produced techno and psytrance back in 1999 up till about 2005 when he fell in love with hiphop and rap. He immediately began producing hiphop beats and scouting for rappers. After being told repeatedly, that his beats could not be rapped on, as they were usually based upon thick 808s, rapid hihats and synths, he decided to rap on them himself and prove them all wrong. Danny released his first album "Nyslået Nostalgi (2019 Remaster)" in 2006 under the name Da9, then teamed up with Z-E-B and Blunten to form Sub Syndikatet and dominate Denmarks underground hiphop scene. Due to disagreements in the group Sub Syndikatet split up and Danny turned a page in his career. In 2010 he formed the roots/rock/reggae band "Slums of Zion" as producer, songwriter and rapper. The band peaked performing at "Vordingborg Festuge" in 2017 and soon after they split up due to different visions and ambitions within the group. Today, Danny owns a small studio and continues to produce, mix and write for other artists and bands. All of his work will be on this page. Maybe we will get to hear him rap again soon?
