John Manning and Ciaran Duffy joined forces in late 2008 having been DJs in their own right for over ten years, playing in clubs and radio shows across Northern Ireland. They met by chance in 2007 while they were both in Brisbane, Australia. After talking they discovered they shared a passion for house music and realising they only lived a few miles apart back home in Ireland they made an agreement, that they would keep in contact and start a project when back on home turf and it was then that “Brisboys” was born. Brisboys’ productions have gone from strength to strength over the course of the last 5 years. Support includes: Pete Tong, Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola, Dubfire, Paco Osuno, Stacey Pullen, Dave Piccioni, Slam, Davide Squillace, Miss Nine, Jesse Voorn, Eric Entrena, Threesixty, Felix Baumgartner, Loko, Macromism, Tom Novy and Betoko and many more. Recently, “Take Me Down” was played by Pete Tong on his “Radio 1 Essential Selection” and the same track was dropped by Richie Hawtin himself at “ENTER. Space”, Ibiza 2013. Ronan Portela’s remix of their track “In The Zone” which was the third release for their own record label “Sonar Bliss”, was played at Sonar Festival, Spain in 2012. Previously, “Upside Down” was selected for the highly acclaimed “Azuli Presents Miami 10″ compilation and “Get Involved” was selected for “Electro Tales Selection Vol 4″ compilation CD on “Atlantis” (Italy). <br>
