Israel Varela is one of the most accomplished artists of his generation and for the last fifteen years has been one of the most in-demand Jazz/World/Flamenco musicians internationally. His originality as a composer, drummer, singer, and producer has allowed him to collaborate with legends like @Pat Metheny, @Charlie Haden, @Yo-Yo Ma, @Greorge Benson, and @Andrea Bocelli. He has released eleven albums as a band leader.
