Hoto Jr. Brazilian Percussionist Musician from Fortaleza Ce. He started his musical career as a child due to the influence of his older brother, who was already a musician at the time in the 1980s. At the age of 6, he awoke musically through the Rhythms Afros Brasileiros and also for watching the Percussionist Naná Vasconcelos in some TV programs. At that time, his father had a dance band that contributed a lot in the beginning of his musical life. The Musician began his career in bands of dance and soon afterwards in the recording studios. He recorded and played with great names of Brazilian MPB such as: Fagner, Ednardo, Belchior, Amelinha, Flávio Venturine, Jaques Morenlembaum, Ricardo Barcelar ,Toninho Horta, Zé Menezes, Dominguinhos, Waldonys , Marlui Miranda, Claudio Nucci, Zé Renato, among others. In 2018, he recorded his first album as a live recorded solo artist entitled '' Hoto Jr. Forró Jazz Trio "with Percussion, Acoustic Bass and Acordeon. In Feb. 2021, he released the Single Ao Mestre Dominguinhos in honor of the musician Dominguinhos. March 2021 Released Single Corrente, a duo of percussion and guitar. The Musician continues his solo career with instrumental music and musical productions by several artists in Brazil.
