Lil Tweezii (or Tweezii) is an independent recording artist, producer, record executive and songwriter from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. His music style is reminiscent of late ‘90s/early 2000s hip-hop and R&B with an ambient, cinematic sound. He started recording music in the summer of 2011 at age 14 and would then release music into 2013, primarily through Facebook, SoundCloud, and YouTube. Ocean Palace was released April 1, 2012 with Heavily Thuggin' following on September 6, 2012. The projects featured underground tunes such as “Swag Like Cocaine”, “Ocean Full of Bitches”, and “I Need Ya Love”. During a ten-year hiatus from recording, he began producing music in a range of styles from R&B, lo-fi, electronic, pop, jazz, funk, country, rock, reggaeton, and afrobeat, among other genres/sub-genres.
