In his 2012 debut release “The Distance Decade,” Cesar Alvarez blends emo rock with pop-punk, surf rock and bluesy pop rock to deliver a punchy assortment of power pop anthems with catchy vocals and confessional storytelling lyrics. Prior to making music as a solo artist, Cesar was vocalist/guitarist of the San Diego post-hardcore band Forthrite.
