 A particular song from one of their major influences became the basis for the band's name.
 Mayonnaise is an alternative rock band from Manila, Philippines. Formed in 2002, the band got their jumpstart from winning Red Horse Muziklaban - a nationwide battle of the bands competition in 2004.
 Mayonnaise has grown with the Filipino local music industry; with 18 years of making records and doing shows, and well-known hits such as Jopay, Bakit Part 2, Tayo Na Lang Dalawa, among many others on their belt. However, the past couple years have been the band's busiest yet - with sold out stadium concerts, nationwide album tours, out-of-the-country shows, various media features, and a steady stream of online content loved by their fans across the globe.
 On the 30th of November 2020, Mayonnaise released their 8th studio album, "Friends & Family," under independent record label, YR Music. The 6th single, "Kailan Ba Ako Gagaling," is a collaboration with Rangel Fernandez. It is now available everywhere.
