Sergio Albach has been a respectful name in the musical scenery of Paraná since the eighties. He graduated from University in 1989, at “Escola de Musica e Belas Artes” in Brazil and, since then, has been presenting himself as a versatile and requested instrumentalist in the recording of cds, participation in concerts, musicals, arrangements and compositions. As an instrumentalist, he has taken part in important musical projects, such as “Tom Brasil”, in which he played in the Chamber of Curitiba’s Orchestra with Egberto Gismonti, Wagner Tiso and Paulo Moura in a tourney throughout many national capitals. As a curator of the Brazilian Popular Music Workshop since 2002 also 2014. In 2002, he became the artistic director of the Brass Orchestra of Curitiba. With this group, he produced six phonographic products. You can listen in https://soundcloud.com/oabsopro As a researcher of “Choro”, a Brazilian popular music style, he developed the following projects: Choro no Sebo”, “No TUC tem Choro” and “Roda de Choro do Conservatório de MPB”. As a clarinetist the musician has participated in more than 50 national CDS and has shared the stage with significant and internationally recognised names of the Brazilian music.
