Biography

Shannarey Brown, known as Dinesty King, is one of the hottest new record producers in Jamaican music. 
 Born and raised in Falmouth Trelawny, he attended the William Knibb High School, where he was a star player on the football team until he graduated in 2014. 
 Dinesty King also began his music career during his high school years. He got his first taste of success at the age of 14 when he built the rhythm for Jah Vinci’s hit single titled Nobody Knows (Where Do Angels Go) on the Triple Dose imprint. 
 While in high school, he also played on the Jamaica National Under 17 Football team. 
 Fresh out of high school, Dinesty King launched his first record label, Falmouth Dinesty Productions, in 2014 with the release of a Dancehall rhythm project titled Crime Time. 
 After that, he continued producing and releasing songs for artistes closely associated with his label, including Jah Torius, Prohgres and Destiny Sparta. 
 Eventually, opportunities opened up for him to work with big named Dancehall acts, including I-Octane, Tommy Lee and Charly Black. 
 He has produced hit singles for Tommy Lee, such as Spartan Empire in 2018 and Under Vibes in 2019. 
 He also produced IOctane’s hit single titled Mine Yuh in 2020 and Charly Black’s Tonight single which was featured on the Jamaican Garrison Christmas album which topped the iTunes Reggae charts in 2021.
