Jérôme Hadey is a French musician, producer, and innovator who began his career as a DJ and electronic music producer. He worked on projects with RZA, founder of the Wu Tang Clan and became a member of the band Outlines with Irfane (Breakbot). Hadey served as a music supervisor and collaborated with renowned composer Hans Zimmer. In 2013, he co-founded Villa Lena, an artist residency and creative retreat in Tuscany, Italy, fostering collaboration, creativity, and breaking down cultural barriers. Facing a life-threatening battle with cancer, Hadey found solace in the creative process and eventually overcame his illness. In 2019, he released the album "JHADEY," featuring contributions from RZA, Hen Yanni, Qendresa, and J Caesar. Recorded at Villa Lena during his chemotherapy treatment, "JHADEY" showcases his ability to focus his energy into music as a positive force. The album served as the first release from Villa Lena Records. In 2022, Hadey released the EP "I Didn't Know My Name," capturing the essence of Berlin's and Ibiza's club scenes, featuring artwork by the renowned French artist JR. There is a lot to look forward to as Jérôme Hadey continues to push the boundaries and explore all possible creative avenues, bringing his unique artistic vision to new and exciting projects in music, film, and art.
