Zekhu Kheswa, born on April 7th, is a multifaceted artist coming all the way from Durban KwaZulu- Natal, excelling as a singer, rapper, producer, and instrumentalist. Having studied jazz vocal at Wits University, he goes by the moniker "Lord Zekhu Kheswa." His musical journey took a significant turn when he dropped his debut collection, JungleFever, on May 3, 2021. Comprising three demo singles, the release garnered attention in the industry, leading to a signing with Mob Mo Production just two months later. Lord Zekhu Kheswa is a versatile creator, delving into alternative, Afro tech, Afro-Pop, Trap, and RnB/Soul genres. Proficient in playing instruments like the piano and guitar, he showcases his musical prowess in "LVIE VIBES BY LORDZEKHU" on his Instagram page.Through his manipulation and fusion of sounds across genres, he aims to provide audiences with a unique and captivating listening experience. In his own words, "Music needs to introduce different tastes; this helps broaden and open the listener's minds to new, informative and insightful things." For Zekhu, music has been an integral part of his life since childhood. Beginning at the age of 11, he practiced in the staff kitchen at his school, drawing attention from a teacher who then provided him with formal piano lessons. Moving to Joburg (Vosloorus) for the final two years of high school heightened his creative inspiration.
