Fred Red, the Berlin based producer, crawled out of his lab in the early 2020s with ear-peaking singles and remixes followed by his debut album Grimus along with vocalist Maura —which got released on the established German Label “Sichtexot” in 2021. With his inimitable sound design, unique drum and percussion style, Fred Red embellishes all of his productions, thus adding his distinctive signature. The releases of the producer merge an array of genres that take you on a journey from progressive beat-music to softly brushed jazz and sophisticated pop without missing the sonic spirit of time. With his commissioned album production for the HHV Record Label, the album “Pelican Valley” got ranked on No.1 in the category of the “Top 100 Vinyls” on the well known vinyl distributer hhv.de in 2021. Fred Red has worked with a wide array of artists from all around the world including JuWehl and Mekdes from Denmark, Mike Nasa (California), Physical Graffiti from New Jersey as well as several jazz-award-winning musicians like Malik Diao who is a crucial part in his works when it comes to composing and instrumentalizing. Since signing to Brighton based label Village Live Records in 2022, Fred Red and Malik Diao released their first joint EP called Parabellum which got listed on Bandcamp's homepage in the section "New and Notable". The duo will release a whole album in February 2023.
