Biography

Tassho Pearce is a native of Hawai'i, born on the remote island of Ishigaki located just west of Okinawa. Raised in Honolulu, Tassho is a true and living example of the universality of Hip-Hop culture, and his fans can attest to his natural progression into an astounding Hip-Hop artist, carving a lane for himself in Hawai'i. Tassho is a household name around the islands, and a veteran of rap battles, even appearing on the coveted Wake Up Show with Sway and King Tech.
In 2004, Tassho independently set up Flip The Bird Records and pressed up his first official single, "Honolulu" which became a staple anthem for Hawai'i, getting major airplay on nearly every radio station. With a resilient hustler persona, he created the clothing brand Flip The Bird which quickly rose to prominence and caught the eye of another well-respected mogul, Russell Simmons. This led a collaboration with Run Athletics, creating a limited edition pair of sneakers and t-shirts. Flip The Bird tees have graced the backs of Method Man, Eminem, Redman, Kanye West, Drake, Nas, Chris Brown and many more.

As an artist, Tassho has collaborated with giants in the industry ranging from No I.D., KiD CuDi, Apathy, Dilated Peoples, and DJ Q-Bert.
These are incredible accomplishments for an independent artist and combined with Tassho's consistency, work ethic, wordplay and compelling stage presence, Tassho is a force to be reckoned with, both on and off stage, whose future success knows no boundaries.
