Every so often there comes a musical force so iconic and powerful that it may very well have the ability to change the world. Now-forgotten stars of the early 80s, Maximum Flavour were a beloved force laying their claim to the dance floors of the Italian Riviera. With a cutting edge sound simultaneously futuristic and nostalgic, they pushed the bounds of dance music one awe-inspiring belter at a time. Perceived as a threat, the shadowy cabal of the international music illuminati felt they had no choice but to cut the duo down. Giorgio was frozen in carbonite, hidden away for decades in cold storage, while Federico perished in a freak accident, ‘falling’ from the tippy-top of the leaning tower of Piza. Suddenly and mysteriously, Maximum Flavour disappeared from the spotlight. Fast forward to 2019, when New York DJ and producer Matt FX unearthed a mysterious carbonite slate while combing through a vintage shop in Naples. Could it be? The one and only Giorgio Beatsaface of legend? Now reunited with his forgotten musical idol, the two have reformed Maximum Flavour to restore the name to it’s former glory. Following in the footsteps of legendary high impact duos such as C+C Music Factory, Mood II Swing, Masters at Work, Daft Punk, La Bionda, Justice, Soulwax and others, Maximum Flavour make larger than life music just begging for that big room play.
