An MC from Northampton Uk, Sonny Blak is well respected for his vivid, technical deep and sometimes witty lyrics. Founder of The Organised Rhyme Family formed early in his career during the mid 2000s before going solo in 2018 with his self titled Sonny Blak ep followed up by the single Different Worlds featuring Dvious Wiser in 2018, and The Dark Horse and Floating on Waves in 2019. New York hip-hop steered his musical tastes growing up in England. He cited legends such as EPMD, Wu Tang Clan and Sean Price to name a few. In 2006 he formed The Organised Rhyme Family with his childhood friends Huey P and MB. Together they released three albums, Now or Never (2006) The Organised Rhyme Family (2007) and Studio Recluse (2008) before going on to work on solo projects, with Sonny Blak releasing his mixtape Back to Face the Music in 2012. In 2014 Sonny teamed back up with The Organised Rhyme Family for the album Renaissance, and then in 2016 with ep Homecoming Sonny Blak started his solo career with the self titled Sonny Blak ep followed by the singles Different Worlds and The Dark Horse produced by The Gutter Liars. This ep and singles showed Sonny’s skills as a hard MC on the heavy boom bap hip hop beats. Then Floating on Waves in 2019 where we heard a more relaxed Sonny Blak.
