FanningSystems is a Tucson, Arizona transplant by way of Los Angeles, California, but his sound is not tethered to any region. Unabashedly hip-hop, his sonic soundscape is often described as Neo Boom-Bap and truly original in a sea of recycled tricks. A member of Adobe House, FS has a deep discography of instrumental tapes to his name, his first published work dating back to 2015. In 2018, he put out his debut album entitled Moca, the Museum of Contemporary Art. 
 The museum features production from fellow Adobe Housemates Collar John and Danish Faizi, as well as Cryptic One of the Atoms Family. He recruited Tucson emcee PSYPIRITUAL and DMC Finalist DJ Grapla to cut it up, with Los Angeles-based guitarist Sean Lee of the Sean Lee Quartet bringing the guitar back to hip-hop. This vivid and lively juxtaposition of rhythm’s, up-rocks, and narratives bridges the gap between morally decadent realism and the conscious essence of self knowledge and style that hip-hop purists have advocated for years.
