"WLCM TO THE HAEVNN" I'm John-Louis Okoh Amali. And I make music I want to listen to. That's why I make so many genres. I'm a musician and a self-taught producer. Inspired by the likes of Kanye West , Drake, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Wizkid, Burna Boy, The Weeknd, Baby Keem, Omah Lay, Rema, Travis Scott, Sarz, Frank Ocean, Dave, J Hus, Skepta, A$AP Rocky, Cruel Santino and many more. I also draw inspiration from older generation artists like Fela Kuti, Kool & The Gang, Sinéad O'Connor, Bob Marley & The Wailers, Lionel Richie, Eminem, Jim Croce and many other legends. I make music based on my mood and also by mirroring songs I enjoy, so there's no predictability with my sound. I listen to a lot of rap, afrobeats, rnb, nu funk, alté music, blues, country music, alternative rock, soft rock, metal, and virtually any sick sound you can think of. My favourite song ever is by WILLOW, it's called "Wait a Minute!" or maybe it's "Drink Before the War" by the late Sinéad O'Connor " actually, it might be "Agitations tropicales" by L'Impératrice — I can't actually decide lol. That's why going through my catalogue is like listening to multiple people and I like it that way. However, I tend to drop albums with particular moods and styles, e.g: "RUN4COVER" is an rnb album, "afroflairr" is an afrobeats album and "BULLY" is an afrofusion album .
