Biography

DEVIL MAY CARE from Würzburg stands for emotional metalcore with influences from alternative rock and post-hardcore. Thereby a good piece of honest and natural roughness is given back to modern metal, which atmospherically underlines the often gloomy song contents about environmental destruction and human aberrations. Frontman Tim Heberlein carries the messages vocally in all heights and depths, clear and emotional as well as brutal and desperate. After tours and shows with Stick to your Guns, Cancer Bats, Itchy, Blackout Problems etc., the band recently celebrated their own headlining tour throughout Germany in sold-out venues. Their release Downfall brings the current state of the world into sharp focus, drawing parallels to seemingly closed chapters of history. It reflects on the lessons we should have learned and warns of the danger that these historical mistakes may repeat themselves. Despite this, the world is experiencing a right-wing shift, with a convicted criminal once again rising to the top of power. In their latest song Mosaik, the metalcore band Devil May Care impressively questions the gloomy reality of a society that repeatedly ignores warning signs and approaches its own downfall with eyes wide open. The track captures the discord and inner conflict of the present - a time in which political and moral missteps are increasingly leading people down a dead-end street.
