Big Boys NYC is a New York based multimedia production collective known for their creative work in the digital media and technology space. Since the early 2010's, Big Boys NYC has primarily worked in the web design space with a focus on creating memorable experiences. Despite dabbling in visual arts for some years, music only emerged as a creative outlet for the team in early 2020, when the world was shut down by the global pandemic. Throughout 2020, Big Boys NYC collaborated with a number of artists across multiple platforms. Crazy, featuring Suck the Bunny, was one of their most highly praised tracks of the year. Through other networks they collaborated with Suicide Girl Aesthetic, Prince Prodigal, among others. While early tracks are heavily rooted in Vladcore, a pseudo-genre centered on the New York journalist and dancer Vladislav Serebryanik (particularly on their first EP, The Epidemic), they quickly branched out into creating diverse multi-genre releases that explored emotion, culture, and relationships (Meet the Bartons) meaningful to "the boys." In early 2021, they released their largest project to date, Big Boys Forever, signaling a possible break from the tightly focused Vladcore genre. This full-length album was by far their longest and most ambitious, receiving glowing reviews online. The album was released as the first album as an NFT, which sold on Rarible shortly after release. Big Boys NYC is currently working on a new project.
