Biography

Turbo Knight is a synthwave artist who rose to prominence in 2016, known for his nostalgic soundscapes and retro-futuristic aesthetics. His music is heavily influenced by his early experiences making music with Commodore 64 and Amiga computers, and his sound is characterized by the use of vintage synths and drum machines. Turbo Knight first discovered his love for electronic music as a early teenager, when he got his hands on his first Commodore 64. He quickly became enamored with the sound of the computer's SID chip, and started experimenting with creating his own music. He later upgraded to an Amiga and continued to hone his skills, eventually making the leap to production in the Digital Audio Workstations in the late 1990s. Turbo Knight's music is deeply rooted in the 80s and early 90s, drawing inspiration from the iconic soundtracks of classic science fiction and action movies, as well as the early days of electronic dance music. He has been praised for his ability to evoke a sense of nostalgia and longing, while also pushing the boundaries of the synthwave genre in new and exciting directions. Over the years, Turbo Knight has built a loyal following of fans and collaborators, and has become one of the most recognizable and influential figures in the synthwave scene. Whether he's playing packed clubs or collaborating with other artists, Turbo Knight remains dedicated to creating music that is as adventurous and imaginative as it is nostalgic and evocative.
