Tomeicko is a full blown West Coast, underground enigma. She has been a part of the Los Angeles Underground scene since 1993. But only the originators truly remember her performing. She already had a popular buzz around her CSU Long Beach campus as an intellectual, funny poet, but heard about the burgeoning underground rap scene, and knew that she wanted to be a part of it. She had been brought to “ The Good Life Cafe”, the same jazzy, hip-hop cafe all the L.A. legends were from, by Skee- Lo ( I Wish…) , and reveled in the cyphers of the L.A. legendary Heavyweights Crew, which included, Volume 10, Freestyle Fellowship, and The Pharcyde , to name a few. In 1994, Coolio became her manager, and she was shopped around for publishing and recording deals, yet, She has been producing her albums on her label, Active Music Werks ever since. She produced her first album, Subject Matter, vol. 1, in 1998. Her second album, V.O.W.S. (Victims of White Supremacy) was produced in 2006. Tomeicko had been recording sporadically, focusing mainly on taking care of her growing family. Now that she has found love with her husband, legendary artist, Volume 10, they have been recording songs together, and she is slowly recording her third album, after a 10 year absence. Her flows have always been futuristic, which is classic of her style, and just like expensive fine wine, her age has allowed her to master of her craft.
