Sahir Gray better known by his stage name Areze developed a passion for writing and recording music very early. Born in 2003 and raised in the rough neighborhoods of West and Southwest Philadelphia, Areze was rapping from a very early age. His earliest songs appeared on Soundcloud in 2017, but it wasn't until the pandemic that the rapper began to really take his music seriously. Motivated by his father, Stakz The Product support, Areze would begin dropping single after single culminating in the release of the Life Is War mixtape in early 2020. Things moved quickly from there, as a second mixtape titled D.I.D soon followed. He began, 2021 with the release of Primeless a short declaration of his intention to be the best in the rap game. Determined to back up this claim, Areze's music began to find ways to be simultaneously gritty and open. The Somber and Heartfelt Go Away single appeared next, assisted by Calvin Cooper of the band OSCAR and in March 2021 his debut E.P, From The Fam Vol.1 , arrived. The E.P was well-received with both Primeless and the fellow Criminal Intent artist Mista Scoop collab Time Gon Come , receiving Music Videos. Shortly after this his second E.P PHILLY RAISED arrived in June of 2021.The record included guest spots from fellow Criminal Intent members $well and Mista Scoop . In 2022 He Dropped From The Fam Vol.2 including the SLUVERBOI collab RedRum. Most Recently he’s dropped his Debut Studio Album The Demon
