Akkie, Amanda Kohlström hailing from Stockholm, Sweden where she was brought up in a commune in Gröndal. She’s a producer, songwriter and multi-creative artist who's in love with making stuff. With tragicomical lyrics and playfulness in performance she makes songs disregarded the genre. Although they often fall under some type of dance music. Coming from the DIY culture and having had part in Femtastic, BO$$$A gang and other separatistic groups for female musicians and entrepreneurs, Akkie always had female rolemodels around inspiring her to push her own limits. She started producing in 2017 while living in London and is truly inspired by the UK music scene. Her first release was the selfproduced halloween song ”Trick or treat”.
