YAS is a classically trained violinist-vocalist, songwriter, composer and producer. Picking up the violin at age 6, she has toured the world performing classical repertoire with symphony orchestras since 16. She has recorded for and performed strings with some of the biggest names in music , like Selena Gomez, ASAP Rocky, Big Sean, Lil Nas X, The Game, Wu Tang Clan, Travis Barker, Desiigner, Sabrina Claudio, Dominic Fike, Roddy Rich, Vic Mensa, San Holo, BJ the Chicago Kid, X Ambassadors, Sinead Harnett, Audrey Mika, Mike Dean, NO-ID, and Charlie Heat. She got credited on two Kanye West produced albums, Teyana Taylor’s NTSE and NAS’s NASIR. She has also performed the Grammys with Shawn Mendes and Miley Cyrus as well as joined GRYFFIN on stage at the 2019 Coachella Music Festival. Last year, she debuted her own ethereal pop-electronic sound with hints of contemporary R&B. She also hates writing bios in the third person.
