Artistic director of Allegro Vivo Festival and conductor of Academia Allegro Vivo. His international career has taken him to major concert halls in Europe, Japan and Asia, including Salzburg Festival, Musikverein Vienna, Konzerthaus Berlin, Philharmonie Luxembourg, Palais des Beaux-Arts Brussels, Concertgebouw Amsterdam with Radio-, CD- and TV recordings. He has performed with conductors like S. Ozawa, P. Boulez, M. Jansons, F. Welser-Möst. After being concertmaster of the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra he now holds the post of concertmaster of the Tonkuenstler Orchestra since 2004. Founder and artistic director of Capriccio Vienna. He received numerous awards including the cultural award of the state of Lower Austria. He studied with B. Kuschnir, R. Küchl, G. Schulz and I. Ozim at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna and at Bern University of Arts. 2015 he obtained a PhD in Vienna on studies on Virtuosity.
