Lone Kent is a composer, songwriter, singer, producer but essentially a guitar player. He has participated on numerous touring and recording projects on an international level, all while working on personal projects (3 solo albums and 2 duo albums that have been commercialised). "What interests me most is sound, how the frequencies interact and form a whole, what makes a piece of music tick. The creative process has always intrigued me." "I am fascinated by how very subtle variations in timbre can change the emotional impact that the listener perceives." His wizardry does not lie in an acrobatic playing style but in a subdued, almost liquid way of playing that he skilfully uses to create an atmosphere of crystalline purity. (Foob) He likes to blend acoustic and electronic sounds, his main instrument being a TV Jones baritone guitar. His latest releases include THE GREAT UNKNOWN, the album RUNAWAY with percussionist Sébastien Gisbert, on which he did all the arranging, producing, mixing and mastering. Sébastien and Lone Kent have released a new album: WALKING RED. He has worked on documentary films by Marc Khanne, the latest is about the "Gillets Jaunes" mouvement in France, called (LA VIE DE TEMPETE).
